- SAINTS have beaten Leigh 28-8 in a keenly fought if not classic tussle.

- They would not cross again with Saints' goal line defence tested but coming up with the goods,
- With the ball there as still plenty in Saints' attack to iron out, but they worked their tries well.
- Mark Percival levelled when he threaded his way through from a Zeb Taia pass.
- Then a bewildering passage of play saw Theo Fages polish it off to put Saints ahead at the break.
- Ryan Morgan's try 11 minutes after the break gave them a cushion but they could never really shake the visitors off.
- But a Regan Grace try 15 minutes from time put the game to bed with big Alex Walmsley adding the final one by crashing under the sticks.
- The game ended with a brief flare up which saw Adam Walker yellow carded.
