CLOCK Face Miners got off to a flying start to their new life in the NCL with a comfortable 32-4 win at Stanley Rangers.
Clock got the scoring underway with a try by Nathan Ashcroft after nine minutes followed by a try by Connor Cutts, burrowing over from close range on 24 mins. Martin Hutton converting both.
Second row Paul Hunt then scored at the 31 minute mark to take Clock into a half time lead of 0-16.
Clock Face started the second half in the same manner as the first with Cutts scoring his second straight after the restart. Hutton duly converted.
Further tries by Kurt Ashcroft and Paul Hunt with a fourth Hutton conversion stretched Clock's lead to 0-32 with 10 minutes remaining.
A consolation try by Rangers closed the scoring.
