ON Tuesday night a host of St Helens Striders took part in the Walton Park 5 miler in Liverpool.
Kevin Brennan was first Strider home in 29:51 and he is now leading in his age category. Following Brennan was Danny Fegan in 33:46, Ian Wright in 34:50, Rich Worsley in 35:05, Anthony Cheers in 35:23.
Pauline Horsall was first lady Strider home in 35:24 followed by Tony Padmore in 35:34, Kevin Monaghan in 36:02, Les Abbott in 36:10, Tony Horsfall in 36:51, Adam Gallimore in 37:57, Alex Abbott in 38:09, Kylie Maguire in 38:30, Tony Dagnall in 39:24, Peter Teeling in 40:52, Mike Cox in 41:47.
Rebecca McKenna come home in 42:04, earning her first place in her age category.
McKenna was followed by Colin Wilson in 42:51, David Navis in 44:29, Sharon O’Connell in 44:48, Angela Jones in 44:50, Louise Padmore in 49:15, with Lorraine Kelly Swann and Lisa Worsley finishing together in 1:00:58.
