ABC Triathlon continue to enjoy a packed summer of racing with members scoring personal best results and winning races in various disciplines.
Phil Ellison took his first Tuesday night time trial win of 2014 at Bickerstaffe, his time of 21:45 putting him 35 clear of his nearest competitor. The following evening's TT at the same venue saw Chris Green tied for fourth position, 22:28 being his season's best time.
Phil and Chris may soon be joined in the ABC cycling elite by Sam Wardle, who put over a minute into his rivals on the cycle leg at the Manchester Junior Triathlon and eased to a runaway victory in the Youth category by over two minutes.
Meanwhile, Robert Chesters rounded off the week in fine style at the Ellesmere Port 5k as he finished 4th in 18:03, giving him a new PB by over 40 seconds.
