NATHAN Brown hailed Saints’ 40-22 success over Catalan as their best win over the season so far, coming as it did after the team suffered three key casualties.
Brown said: "The boys did great to hang on in there with the injuries and resultant disruptions.
"At 24-0 we were coasting and looking good and then they scored.
"We got off to a reasonable start in the second half but had a lot of players in different positions. We had to work hard and middle did well defensively.
"Whenever we got an opportunity we scored or had one disallowed so our execution was good.
"It was our best win of the year and it's a good sign the boys can hang in there.”
