LIVERPOOL youngster Conor Coady who has been compared to Anfield legend Jamie Carragher by England Under 20s coach Peter Taylor.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Taylor, who was in charge of the senior England squad when he first named David Beckham captain, was full of praise for the Haydock youngster, who will lead the squad for the U20s World Cup in Turkey this summer.
He was full of praise for the 20-year-old, saying: “He’s good around the place. He’s a good leader, nice and vocal with the group and looks as though he wants to get things done.
“He was a good choice I think.”
Coady, a former Rainford High pupil, is captain of Liverpool under 21s. He made his senior debut last season.
