Coleen Rooney is to sign a £1 million deal to make a new documentary about her famous "Wagatha Christie" argument with Rebekha Vardy.

Coleen, 35, who lives in Cheshire, is reportedly going to be "front and centre" of the new film, according to friends, reports The Mirror.

The Mirror reports that Producers Lorton Entertainment, are involved in “very advanced talks” over the new film and it could appear on Netflix or Amazon.

Lorton Entertainment has made Wayne Rooney's new film Wayne, which is due to stream on Amazon Prime in 2022.

The two were caught up in a legal battle after Coleen accused Rebekha, 39, of leaking stories to the press via Instagram.

Rebekha is now suing Coleen for libel and the trial is due to appear in the High Court next summer.

The argument between the two started when Coleen suspected someone was leaking stories to the press about her and her family.

It ended with the famous post from Coleen, which earned her the name "Wagatha Christie".

"I blocked everyone from viewing my Instagram stories except one account," Coleen wrote on her Instagram in October 2019.

"Over the past five months I have posted a series of false stories to see if they made their way into the Sun newspaper. And you know what, they did!

"I have saved and screenshotted all the original stories which clearly show just one person has viewed them.

"It's.........Rebekha Wardy's account."

Coleen usually shuns the limelight, but was seen in the trailer for Wayne's new documentary, commenting on his mental health issues.
