IN reply to the letter about people wearing lanyards and getting abuse for not wearing a mask.
The only way that will be stopped is if the EXEMPTION came from the NHS.
Anyone can go online and buy these sunflower lanyards which makes a mockery of exemption.
I understand some can’t wear a mask and it is those people who should have been given official exemption from the NHS and given recognisable lanyards. There would have been a lot less lanyards seen.
The Government should, at the very beginning, have set out specific guidelines about official exemption, but as usual Government have left it too late.
I have COPD but still feel it’s my duty to wear a mask. I know it will be for a short period of time whilst shopping.
