MY little brother Robert got home on Sunday around 5.30pm, and told me that he tried to buy some biscuits/cakes in the Go Local shop in Rainhill, but when he asked how much they were, he didn’t have enough money.

He said as he was walking down the street afterwards, a lady stopped in a car and handed him the biscuits he wanted out of the window.

He didn’t understand why, but she said: “That’s for holding the door open for me at the shop.”

She noticed that he didn’t have enough money for them and decided to buy them for him herself when he left the shop.

Something so small can go a long way. He came in saying this made his day, so thank you whoever it was.
