FURTHER to the comments made by the retired physician last week regarding the lack of face masks.
I attended the Tesco St Helens superstore and counted no less than 10 people between paying and going out the door including two staff wearing no face mask/face shields, all adults. Not all would be exempt.
Hopefully we will soon go back to 24 hour shopping and I can go when there are fewer people.
It doesn’t encourage customers to use the store if Tesco cannot manage the safety of its customers.
It is a shame when the majority are trying to protect each other and keep the infection rate in the area down.
After all would these same people tolerate being treated by NHS staff without them wearing appropriate PPE.
Surely we don’t want a second wave?
