I READ with interest the article from our council leader about observing all the requirements to stop the disease spreading and I agree with everything he says.
I have however visited two shops this week one in the town centre and large shop at Fingerpost where I was on both occasions one of the few customers wearing a face mask.
Don’t you think it’s about time these shops enforced the rules for their own staff welfare as well as the general public?
I asked the question in both of the shops concerned and in both they said it wasn’t their job to enforce the regulations.
We won’t see ongoing progress unless they do.
