I WOULD just like to say how great the flash country park is looking, with all the new paths and tree planting.
But just one problem where do you sit for a break and take in all the lovely scenery?
I went for a walk from the Haydock end called the pad, going towards what used to be the swan pub, with my father who is 82.
What was one of the hottest days of the year I took refreshments to have on the walk but couldn’t find one single place to sit down.
In the end we had to lean on a fence to have a break and take in our refreshments, my poor father was shattered.
Why is it that no seating as been put anywhere?
Even if its just some logs strategically placed up and down to take a break, and take in the views.
They wouldn’t cost a fortune. If you go to the nine arches end, and take a walk there, if you tripped you would hit your head on a bench they are everywhere.
