Streetlights should light the street - not our property!
WITH reference to the letter Lights Out dated July 30, 2020.
We have an LED right outside our front rooms, we thought the purpose of a street light was to light the road not flood light our property.
Oh No, the road is dark but our property is well lit, the column is a new type, when the council took the old style light off AND the arm it was fitted on, ones common sense tells you putting a light especially LED just attached to the column brings the light further back.
Why can’t the council put an arm back on, or is this too much to ask?
