WITH reference to your article in last week’s Star regarding the Bocboc application to extend its opening hours.
One individual stated that the plans were a ‘blatant attempt to lower the tone of the area even further’.
It’s a coffee shop, not a nightclub.
What does lower the tone of an area is when this council grants planning permission for TWO massive recycling plants in your area bringing with it high volumes of HGVs, smells, and the occasional fires.
It would appear these concerned residents are quite happy for developments anywhere but in their area.
I suggest they take a long hard look at themselves and their self-centred attitudes.
