I MUST admit I haven’t ventured out to St Helens town centre a great deal in recent months while the lockdown has been in place.
But in the past week I have been a few times on an evening to collect items from a pharmacy.
I was concerned to see the amount of youths tearing around the pedestrianised streets on bikes and others climbing on buildings.
There was no sign of a police presence.
It does not create a welcoming atmosphere and for the sake of businesses in the night time economy who are trying to get back on their feet and encourage customers to their restaurants it needs to be better than this.
