Our way of keeping in touch
FOR the last three months our church (Nutgrove Methodist) has been closed like other churches.
But, for the last 12 weeks, my husband and I have found a way of keeping in touch by ringing 24 members and friends (individually) each Sunday morning between 10am and 1pm.
I play the piano and my husband sings one verse of a hymn and ends with a very short prayer.
Our intention was to try it out for two weeks but it appeared to be appreciated, so on we go and hope the day will soon be here when normality returns.
