BETTER days will soon be here,
Just you wait and see,
It may not be this week or next, but soon –I guarantee
Families will be reunited,
Friends will gather round,
Laughs and jokes will echo,
From this forgotten happiness that we’ve found
Shaking hands around the town,
And embracing in the street,
No longer will we stand apart,
This virus has been beat.
Restaurants will be back open,
Couples will go on dates,
Kids can play outside again,
Excited to see their mates.
So while these times are hard right now,
There’s something you must hear,
This will not go on forever,
Because better days are getting near.
