I WAS very proud, alongside my husband and daughter, to take part in the tenth St Helens 10k on Sunday.
It was such a special event and everybody involved in both the running and the organisation deserves the highest praise.
In particular, I would like to say a massive thanks to all the marshals.
They kept us on the right route (important when chugging along at the back), they kept our spirits up with their cheery banter and they made sure that there was a clear passage for us over the crowded Steve Prescott bridge when we arrived back.
Thanks again for your enthusiasm and your professionalism.
Rosemary Stankiewicz, St Helens
