WHAT a wonderful little gem we have in St Helens, Lucem House Community Cinema on Corporation Street.
On Friday evenings at 7.30pm for only £5 entry with tea, coffee or a cold drink and a chocolate bar for a small donation.
It is run by volunteers who do a wonderful job.
They show films that you might have missed at the cinema, such as ‘Sorry we missed you’ which was shown on February 7.
There is a friendly welcoming atmosphere.
The volunteers research the films they show and give an introduction before the movie starts.
They have worked tirelessly to have a ramp installed to allow people with a mobility issue to be able to attend. This is to happen in the near future.
I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone there for making our Friday evenings so enjoyable.
