Birchley Street car park
I SEE that Birchley Street car park is now pay and display.
This means you must now decide how much time you wish to spend shopping before you leave the car park.
Previously you could stay as long as you wish without fear of overrunning and paying a fine.
With shop owners in town having a hard time as it is, should the council really be discouraging shoppers from spending a little extra time and money in the town centre.
