FOLLOWING up on my letter from last week about litter, I have some good news.
1. I emailed the Rainford Parish Council and the three Rainford Borough Councillors regarding fly tipping at the Junction end of Ferny Knoll Road. A number of black bin bags roadside and in the field. Not something I could personally sort out.
2. Borough councillor Allan Jones contacted me the same day and went to see for himself. You could not ask for a quicker/better response.
3. He told me he would liaise with the St Helens Borough Council. It is evidently under their jurisdiction, regarding removal of road side fly tipping / bin bags.
4. Pleased to report JOB DONE including the bin bags in the field!
Tony Brown, Rainford
