IN response to the article Nappy Disposal in November 29 edition of the Star.
In an ideal world reusable nappies would indeed be the better solution.
But it is a fact that more parents work these days and just haven’t got the time to soak, wash and dry reusable nappies.
Also the disposal of clinical waste such as incontinence pads etc, must be considered.
Therefore, forward planning by the council is imperative and is to be applauded to stop the problems associated with the disposal of disposable nappies/clinical waste in brown bins.
