Windle Island
I WRITE regarding the roadworks at Windle Island.
I travel down the East Lancashire Road every day for work.
It appears to me that nothing has happened in more than two weeks – not a machine or a spade has been used.
On top of this there are roadworks on the St Helens Linkway. It is absolute madness.
The town is being strangled and it is causing misery for drivers and the emergency services.
