PEOPLE cannot cope with fortnightly brown bin collections?
You clearly aren’t doing it right.
Moaning that their bins stink and are overloaded (I’m unsure general waste stinks at all).
I have two children who when in nappies I did put the bin out fortnightly (it was never full though or stank).
It now goes out monthly and isn’t even full.
The recycling that is collected goes out weekly (the best change that’s happened as it used to be fortnightly).
The rest I take to the recycling centre on Burtonhead Road (which is all mostly recycled too, who’d have thought it?).
Why should the council take more responsibility for your waste than you do?
If your bin stinks, buy less food to waste, if it’s overloaded, buy fewer things you happily bury in somebody else’s back yard.
