BRITISH and Commonwealth Middleweight champion Martin Murray has thrown his weight behind a local club.
Wild Card boxing club have relocated from their gym at the Family Centre in Parr to new facilities at Derbyshire Hill Youth Club.
The club is open throughout the week, running both daytime and evening classes and attracts up to 150 young people a week.
It offers a range of activities including boxing, kick-boxing and fitness classes.
Murray, who is unbeaten as professional, will be fighting Felix Sturm on December 2 for the WBA Middleweight title at the SAP Arena in Germany.
