RECENT repairs to a library have been affected by stormy weather - extending its closure to Monday, October 31.
Extreme weather conditions on Monday, October 18 caused further water damage to the ceiling at Rainford Library, Church Road.
The ceiling now needs replacing, adding three days to the original timescale for closure.
Any books due back can be returned to any St Helens library and can also be renewed by visiting www.sthelens.gov.uk.
