SOUNDS of the blacksmith will echo from the Smithy Heritage Centre at Kiln Lane, Eccleston on Saturday (May 21).
The venue is staging a Blacksmith’s Day with blacksmith Rod Ellis.
There will be working demonstrations along with country crafts such as wheelwrighting and wood turning.
Stalls will be selling plants and jewellery, and free craft activities are provided for children. Admission is free for the event running from noon to 5pm.
