A CRACKDOWN on yobs who cause 'bus crime' resulted in boys being punished for offences that include 'mooning', throwing stones and letting off stink bombs.
Operation Trojan, an undercover police scheme, resulted in a nine-year-old boy from Sutton being issued with a fine for throwing stones at a bus.
Three boys from Parr and a lad from Clock Face were also given £40 fines, as was a Sutton Leach youngster who let a stink bomb off.
Furthermore, one person was given a summons for urinating near a bus and a boy, 14, was taken home for 'mooning'. A nine-year-old boy in Clinkham Wood was caught throwing a stick and a 12-year-old dangerously attempted to hang onto an open bus emergency door.
