I hope people took the time out at the weekend to watch the televised national league playoff finals.

The games were really entertaining and provided me with an excellent excuse not to move from my couch and also a good reason not to watch an hour length Baywatch special, which was looking likely at one point!

It's really strange that Halifax could have been in the National League 2 next year but they just managed to survive!

Watching that game reminded me of how physical National Leagues football is as other people's elbows, fists and knees become close and personal friends of yours.

And after suffering 80 minutes of pain and punishment, these people go to work the next day! How lucky are we to be full time! (Except Foz he works part time at the safari park. Stop climbing on people's cars Foz!)

Leigh Centurions finally made it to Super League on Sunday; I wonder how they will cope with the transition between the leagues?

Micky Higham a Leigh lad was quoted as saying, "Al-reet lad, bloody beltin' seeing Leythers in Super League!" as he walked away eating a pastie.

This week is the grand final and the end of a long year. I will be tipping Leeds to win final they have had a great season and deserve something other than a pat on the back.

Lastly I would just like to thank the people at Christie's Deli for fuelling me during the off-season thank you for your support!
