SAINTS have confirmed the sale of academy prop Andy Bracek to Warrington Wolves for £20,000.
The Club stated that Bracek had put in a written transfer request and was insistent on leaving as he saw no prospect of regular first team games for a number of years and there was a lot of competition from other Saints juniors coming through the ranks.
Saints coach Ian Millward said: "It would have been nice to keep Andy, but he was insistent on leaving. Ultimately, we only want players committed to the shirt and we are currently fortunate enough to have a number coming through the junior ranks. We wish Andy every success."
