COULD you give this adorable black and white ball of fluff a home this Christmas?
Lovable Badger has been cared for staff at St Helens Cats Protection for the past six months.
Most cats are re-homed by the charity within a few weeks, but there has been little interest in the cutie.
They believe he is struggling to find a new owner because he needs special food due to allergies.
The food costs less than £1 a day but is only available from a vet.
The charity, which is based on Chester Road, stop re-homing for Christmas this week, but would make an exception for Badger.
Manager Susan Hoyle believes the cat would make an excellent family pet.
She said: “He loves to sit on your knee and is definitely a lap cat.
“He’d be happy in any home and with other cats, as long as he only has access to his own food.”
