MOSS Bank Lib Dem councillor Anne Heyes died yesterday (Sunday, May 31), following a brave battle against cancer.
The 55-year-old from Kentmere Avenue in Carr Mill was a member of St Helens Council’s Licensing and Environmental Protection Committee and had been a councillor for two years.
Anne, who was ex RAF, dedicated much of her time to raise money for lifeboats and Guide Dogs for the Blind. She had also worked for Helena Housing at sheltered accommodation in Billinge.
