A MAN has been charged with a series of thefts and burglaries across St Helens.
Adam Kay, 34, is accused of multiple offences including theft from a shop, theft from a vehicle, fraud, and three counts of burglary.
The charges relate to incidents that took place between August 17 and September 2, 2026.
On August 17, Kay is alleged to have stolen £22.50 worth of meat from the Asda store on Kirkland Street in St Helens.

On August 27, he allegedly stole bank cards from a vehicle parked on Billinge Crescent.
He is also accused of using those bank cards fraudulently to purchase goods at McTucky’s in St Helens on the same day.
Further charges relate to an alleged burglary at Only Dessertz on Westfield Street, St Helens, on August 27, where he is accused of stealing £400 in cash.
Kay is also charged with entering Fuel Café as a trespasser on August 31 and stealing £200 in cash.
Meanwhile, on September 2, he allegedly entered Blackbrook Rugby Club on Boardmans Lane and stole £150 in cash.
Kay, who is listed as of Burns Crescent, St Helens, is due to appear at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Thursday, September 10.
