A MAN has admitted to possession of crack cocaine.
Joe Wright, 24, of Viaduct Street, Newton-le-Willows, indicated a guilty plea at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 25.
He was found in possession of the Class A drug on Wednesday, May 20, this year.
Wright indicated a guilty plea at the hearing and has been released on unconditional bail.
He is due to return to the magistrates' court for sentencing on October 1.

Under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, possession of a Class A drug carries a maximum penalty of 12 months’ imprisonment and/or an unlimited fine if dealt with in a magistrates’ court.
