A MAN is due to appear in court accused of sexual assault at a shop and a string of fraud offences.
Mark Higgins, of Kendal Drive, Carr Mill, has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman at a shop in St Helens on Easter Sunday, April 5, this year.
He is accused of intentionally touching the woman without consent.
Higgins also faces three charges of fraud by false representation, as well as one count of theft.

The fraud charges relate to the use of an allegedly stolen bank card on December 10 and December 11 in St Helens, last year.
The theft charge alleges he stole the bank card on December 10.
All offences are reported to have taken place in St Helens.
Higgins, 39, is due to appear before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates Court today, Wednesday, August 26 for a first hearing.
Complainants of sexual assault allegations are entitled to lifelong anonymity and cannot be identified.
