A BOY was due to appear in court accused of dangerous driving and carrying a knife in public.
The 14-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was due to appear at Merseyside Youth Court today in connection with an incident that took place on Jubits Lane, in Sutton Manor, on Sunday, June 28 this year.
He is charged with offences including dangerous driving, possession of a knife in a public place, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, and failing to stop for a police officer.

It is alleged that the boy was riding a black Sur Ron bike dangerously on the road.
He is also alleged to have failed to stop the vehicle when required to do so by a police officer.
It is also alleged that he had with him, a locking knife.
The charges allege that he was riding the bike without a valid licence or insurance.
The teenager was due to make a court appearance today, Tuesday., August 25
Under section 49 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933, the identity of the boy cannot be published.
