TWO teenagers are due in court charged with a string of offences including a burglary at a McDonald's restaurant and trespassing on a railway line.
The 16-year-old and 14-year-old are due to appear at Merseyside Youth Court this afternoon, Tuesday, August 25, in connection with offences alleged to have taken place in St Helens and Huyton earlier this year.
Both have been charged with burglary, theft, and trespass relating to incidents that took place over just two days in late March.
The teenagers are accused of entering the staff room of a McDonald’s restaurant on Chalon Way West in St Helens as a trespasser with the intent to steal on Sunday, March 29, this year.
They are both also charged with stealing an unknown quantity of Red Bull from The Range shop in St Helens on Saturday, March 28.
On the same day as the alleged burglary, the pair are accused of trespassing on the railway lines at St Helens Central station.
Meanwhile, the 16-year-old also faces a charge of possessing ketamine in Huyton on March 29.

The 14-year-old also faces a charge of assault in connection with an alleged attack in St Helens on March 28.
The boys, both from Huyton, are due to make a first court appearance this afternoon.
Both defendants cannot be legally identified due to automatic reporting restrictions under Section 49 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933.
