THE final gala of a long season saw St Helens Swimming Club travel to the Preston Summer Spectacular.

Rose Terry rounded off a great season with two Personal Bests when storming to gold in the 200m Butterfly and 200m Freestyle.

Ben Hampson also set two PB’s when taking gold in the 100m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly. There were three best times for Izzy Wainwright as she picked up silver in all the Breaststroke events.

Four Personal Bests for Max Willetts included two silvers and a bronze with Oliver Crosby posting his best ever times when claiming silver in both the 100m & 200m Backstroke.

Daisy Chisnall added three bronze medals to her collection including PB’s in the 200m Individual Medley and 50m Freestyle.

A good weekend for Seb Wade with two Personal Best was highlighted with a bronze in the 50m Butterfly.

A number of other good performances included Personal Bests for Hayden Battle, Freya Ashton, Miles Hughes and Noah Langley with Sofia Bagdonavicius and Freya Green finishing their seasons strongly.
