A MAN has been fined after admitting to possession of a Class A drug.
Darren Lee, of Juddfield Street in Haydock, appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley, and St Helens Magistrates’ Court on Monday, June 22.
He pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine in St Helens on March 1.
Lee, 41, was fined £120, with his guilty plea taken into account.

He was also ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The court further ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the cocaine.
This was carried out under Section 27 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
Possession of a Class A drug carries a maximum penalty of 12 months’ imprisonment, an unlimited fine, or both when tried in a magistrates’ court.
Lee did not receive a custodial sentence or community order.
