THE Billinge Midsummer Market has had its date confirmed.

The event will take place at The Masons Arms on Saturday, June 27, from 12pm to 5pm, featuring an array of stalls from local makers and artists, as well as a collection of charitable organisations.

Billinge's three primary schools will also join forces to present a craft stall, stocked with items handcrafted by the children.

A notable aspect of the market is its focus on health and wellbeing.

Andy's Man Club St Helens has committed to attending the event to distribute advice and information throughout the day.

Food lovers can anticipate a taste of Spanish cuisine from Pepe Luis Paella, while the Masons Arms will satisfy visitors with a selection of beverages.

The market also caters to families, offering children free face painting and arts and crafts activities.

Live music will provide the soundtrack for the afternoon.

However, visitors are reminded that parking at the venue itself is unavailable, as is the case with the traditional Christmas market at The Masons.

Instead, guests are strongly encouraged to use public transport, travel by foot, or park at Barrows Farm, a short walk from The Masons Arms.

Regular updates regarding the event, including travel information, will be posted on the dedicated Facebook page, Billinge Community Market.

Andy's Man Club provides support for men aged 18 and over, meeting each Monday from 7pm to 9pm, excluding bank holidays.

The meetings offer men an opportunity to converse about any topics of their choosing.
