THE founder of a fashion boutique is hosting her second fashion show in aid of Willowbrook next week, celebrating clothes for all sizes and the power of community.
Lisa Kenrick, the owner of Mirror Mirror fashion boutique on Nutgrove Road, St Helens, arranged a fashion show utilising clothes from the store and a range of customers to showcase designs in a sold out event which was all in aid of Willowbrook Hospice.
The event, in November 2025 raised £3,276.

She enjoyed it so much that she is planning to make it a regular event, with the next fashion show taking place at Sidac Social Club in Sutton on Thursday, May 1 – which was a sell out 48 hours after tickets were released.
Lisa said: “When you think of Willowbrook, there isn’t a person in this town that has not in some way known someone who has had to use it or heard about the amazing care they provide.

“Last year’s event was a celebration of women, and size, and community and it raised so much for the hospice that it was something I really just wanted to do again.
“What makes this event so special is that it truly is a community effort.
"Local businesses have come together to sponsor tables and donate raffle prizes, and all of our models are local ladies giving their time to make the evening a success. It really is everyone pulling together for something that matters.

“I think it is a really warm, positive story about what happens when a community comes together behind a cause close to their hearts.”
