A FARM shop has been shortlisted as one of the best in the UK and nominated for a national award.
Kenyon Hall Farm, on Winwick Lane, is a popular family-run farm shop and café which was founded 47 years ago.
The team at the farm are celebrating as they have been announced as finalists in the Farm Shop and Deli Retailer Awards.
“It’s a massive deal, as these awards are judged by industry experts and recognise excellence, innovation and quality across the very best farm shops and delis,” a spokesperson for Kenyon Hall Farm said.
“Farm shop manager, James, will be heading down to the awards ceremony in April, so keep your fingers crossed.
“But no matter what the outcome, making it this far is an incredible achievement and shows just how special our farm shop is.
“We’re very proud.”
It is not the first time that Kenyon Hall Farm has been recognised for its outstanding farm shop, and it was named Best Farm Shop or Deli in Muddy Stiletto’s national awards in September.
It was also named Best Farm Shop in Cheshire last year.
As well as it’s farm shop, it is also known for its fruit picking and annual pumpkin festival.
