A THIRTY-YEAR-OLD man who was caught in possession of cocaine has been sentenced by magistrates.
David Worton, of Bassenthwaite Avenue, Moss Bank, appeared before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Monday, February 16.
The defendant indicated a guilty plea to possession of a Class A drug.
On December 3, 2025, in St Helens, Worton had a quantity of cocaine in his possession, contrary to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

Magistrates fined the 30-year-old £120, and ordered him to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The court also ordered for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
Worton's guilty plea taken was into account upon sentencing.
