A FIFTY-FOUR-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with firearms offences and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
David Finney, of Seath Avenue, Parr, was due to appear before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday, February 26).
As part of an investigation, police searched units located at Sankey Valley Industrial Estate, in Newton-le-Willows, on Tuesday, February 24, and found a suspected firearm, ammunition and a quantity of cocaine and heroin.
Finney faces charges of possessing a firearm and possessing ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.

He has also been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and heroin.
The 54-year-old was due to make a first appearance before the court on the charges this morning.
