A couple with three decades of fashion experience are celebrating their menswear store being open six months on the popular Newton-le-Willows high street.
Lisa and Andrew Phillips-Baynes opened Sixty High Street in August 2025 and since then have received much support from the community.

The duo has a strong connection to the area and to the fashion industry, Lisa who is currently also an Arts and Design lecturer at St Helens College and Warrington College, is soon set to return to Sosander as a print designer while Andrew is part of the design team behind Caddie Couture.
The store is a lux setting, situated on the first floor with collections from top high street designers like Capo, Bélier, Wolsey, Caddie Couture and more.
Lisa said: “I have a history in womenswear and Andrew has experience in menswear but with feedback from male friends we were told there is not much offering from menswear on the high streets in general with people feeling they have to go to the Trafford Centre or Liverpool just to try stuff on instead of going online.

“We have lots of people coming in on the back of our social media outfit designs and they like the look of what we’ve put together and they’ve come to buy that and find brands and items they might not know they like with looking online.
“A lot of the brands are only found online or in top stores like Liberty London, so we really do offer clothes you can’t try on easily elsewhere in the area.”

Commenting on the area she added: “We’ve found other business owners in the area to be very supportive, it’s a nice community to be part of.
“I think it’s easier for those with food and drink offerings, but we have been very welcomed and it’s a popular high street and we all support each other.”
