A PROMINENT hotel building has been placed on the market.

The Premier Inn, located on Warrington Road, in Rainhill, has been listed for £1.1 million.

The property offers 34 ensuite contemporary bedrooms and will be sold without Premier Inn branding.

It is a two‑storey, modern, purpose‑built hotel, positioned next to the Ship Inn pub and restaurant, which is not included in the sale.

There are 38 on‑site car parking spaces, and the site benefits from excellent transport routes along with an Energy Rating of B.

A property description on property website Rightmove states: "This Premier Inn site is well positioned away from the A57 and offers modern and well-maintained accommodation.

"The hotel is fully detached, a two-storey brick building under a slate roof. A reception area leads guests to their rooms.

"Rooms include double, twin, family and accessible. The adjacent Ship Inn Pub (not included) is conveniently positioned for guests."

Located near the M62, the hotel is said to be successfully operating and trading.

The tenure is understood to be a leasehold of 999 years commencing from 24th July 2004 and subject to a peppercorn rent.

Christie & Co, is the agent handling the sale.
