A TWENTY-THREE-YEAR-OLD man has been sentenced by magistrates after admitting to possessing a Class A drug.
Jake Ball, of Lord Street, St Helens, appeared for before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Monday, January 26.
He indicated a guilty plea to possessing cocaine in the town on October 26, 2025.
Ball was found with a quantity of cocaine, contrary to the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Magistrates imposed a £280 fine, and the defendant was also ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £112 victim services surcharge.
A collection order was made, and Ball must repay the total amount in weekly instalments beginning on February 9.
The court also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the cocaine.
The 23-year-old's guilty plea was taken into account during his sentencing.
