A MAN who admitted to having cocaine on him at a St Helens nightclub has been sentenced by a court.
Aaron McCann, of Meliden Gardens, Bold, appeared before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, January 21.
McCann, 35, indicated a guilty plea to a charge of possession of a Class A drug.
On February 23, last year, McCann had a quantity of cocaine on him at Bar 44 nightclub, on Westfield Street, in St Helens town centre.

District judge James Clarke ordered the defendant to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £26 surcharge.
A 28‑day conditional discharge was imposed, and a collection order made requiring the sums to be paid in full by February 18.
The court also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of cocaine, under section 27 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
The defendant’s guilty plea was taken into account.
A conditional discharge is where a court does not impose an immediate punishment, such as a fine or custody, provided the defendant does not commit another offence during the specified period.
