A MAN has been charged with multiple offences including rape, burglary and possession of a knife.
Following a report, police arrested a suspect on suspicion of several offences.
Dayne Smith, of Riddell Way, Sutton Leach was charged with the rape of a woman; two offences of burglary; harassment; possession of a Class B controlled drug (cannabis) and possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.

Smith, 38, was remanded to appear at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Monday, November 17.
