Marks & Spencer is offering customers who return their used M&S clothes to be resold a £5 voucher to spend instore.
The household name has collected 36.5m secondhand clothes since it launched its “shwopping” clothing recycling scheme – now called Another Life – and most of that has been resold by charity partner Oxfam.
Now it's working with Oxfam and eBay on this new collaboration, rewarding customers for Oxfam donations containing at least one M&S item with a £5 voucher.
How can I donate and claim my £5?
1. Bag up and drop off your unwanted clothes in Oxfam shops
Bring your unwanted clothes to any Oxfam shop and receive a £5 M&S voucher for every donation that includes at least one M&S-labelled item. Use this voucher on clothing, home, and beauty products at M&S (minimum £35 spend, exclusions apply).
2. Donate your pre-loved clothes at an M&S store
Drop your pre-loved items, regardless of brand, into an Another Life donation station at any M&S store.
Oxfam says: "Your pre-loved clothing will be sorted and, depending on its condition, will be either sold in our high-street shops, online shop, or at festivals.

"By doing this we can extend your clothing’s life and raise money towards charitable projects tackling poverty around the world. Clothes we can't resell, or reuse are sold in bulk to reprocessing companies to be reborn as mattress filling or carpet underlay."
Claim your Reward
For each donation that includes M&S-labelled clothing (including shoes, handbags, belts, hats and scarves) or M&S-labelled soft furnishings (bed linen, towels, cushions, curtains, throws, aprons, tablecloths and napkins) to an Oxfam shop, you'll be given a £5 voucher.
This offer does not include donations of the following M&S clothing: swimwear, underwear, socks, or damaged or soiled items. Only one voucher will be issued per visit.
